GRAVELROAD DRIVING AND
DEFENSIVE DRIVING
The course is non-accredited and normally of interest to companies with employees driving 4x4 or 4x2 vehicles.
Gravel roads are an important part of a country’s infra structure connecting rural and remote areas to the rest of the world. Driving gravel roads has it own special road safety challenge. Driving on gravel might be hazardous especially to the not-so- experienced driver. Gravel roads in South Africa are common in farming areas and with the possibility of animals crossing the roads where there are no fencing increasing the risks.
Price
Gravel Road Driving : R850 - 3 hours
Defensive Driving : R1200 - 5 hours
Defensive Gravel Road Driving : R2000.00 - one day

What to bring with
(1). 4X2 or 4X4 vehicle with enough fuel. (preferable 4x4)
(2). Own refreshments and 1.5liter drinking water.
(3). Vehicle's Owners Manual
(4). if available : air compressor and tyre pressure gauge
(5). Certified copy of ID should you want a certificate. Please print your email address clearly on the copy.
Driver Requirement
The candidate must have either a valid driver's license or familiar driving a vehicle on-road.
Attendance Certificate - Pdf format
We shall email you a certificate if you attend either the practical or theoretical session. A certified copy of ID is required should you require an attendance certificate of the training. Please print your email address clearly on the certified copy.
Training Manual
Each candidate who attended either the practical or theoretical session will receive the training manual in pdf format.
